LFR knocks down flames at house converted into apartment near 30th & U

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Firefighters rushed to knock down flames that were spreading at a house converted into an apartment in central Lincoln early Friday morning.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue were called to the structure on 30th Street between U and Vine around 4:45 a.m.

10/11′s Skyview camera showed smoke rising from the area of the fire. Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg says crews were able to get the flames knocked down quickly, and no injuries occurred…
