Missing Construction Equipment May Be Part of Scam

LINCOLN–(KFOR June 6)–Two Bobcat track loaders are missing, after the manager of a Lincoln business apparently rented out the equipment for one week to who he thought was a construction company out of Oklahoma.

It turned out to be a possible scam.

Lincoln Police say on Wednesday they were called to a construction site in the 5200 block of West Redberry Lane, where the Bobcat Compact Track and Mini Track loaders were dropped off. Officers talked to a neighbor, who said he saw a trailer arrive around midnight on May 21 and loaded up both Bobcats.
