Matt Rhule has kicked off June with one big interior offensive lineman commitment. It appears as though he’s about to grab another one, considering that Mississippi prospect Hayden Ainsworth just shut down his recruitment.
The 3-star prospect out of Biloxi is just the latest Husker target that came and camped in Lincoln recently and was blown away by what he saw. While he’s not claiming that what he saw was the reason for shutting down his commitment, it certainly looks like he saw all he needed when he looked closer at the Cornhuskers.

Aisnworth is one of several players planning on announcing their commitment on June 20. It’s certainly interesting why that date has become the drop-dead date for so many. Perhaps it’s as simple as being almost exactly six months from when they can sign on the dotted line and officially join programs like Nebraska football.
