Lincoln man with ALS dies in house fire; family reflects on his life

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man was killed in a mobile home fire early Saturday morning. The victim, 36-year-old Shon Greenfield, had spent the last six years of his life battling Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as ALS.

Both of Shon’s siblings described him as their protector.
