50-year-old treasures unearthed from world’s largest time capsule in Seward

SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) — The grounds of the world’s largest time capsule were peaceful Monday after its opening last week.

A 1975 Chevrolet Vega and Kawasaki motorcycle, both tucked inside the capsule in Seward 50 years ago, were in pristine condition.

“It was unbelievable to me that after 50 years, the colors were that bright and that the whole car was in that good of shape,” said Trish Davisson Johnson, daughter of the time capsule creator…
