Woman gets five years in prison for deadly crash in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman was sentenced on Monday for a deadly crash in Lincoln last summer.

Vanessa Williams, 32, got five years in prison for motor vehicle homicide with reckless or willful reckless driving and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

She will be eligible for parole in two years and three months. After she is released, she will be on probation for 18 months…
