Lincoln teens charged as adults after robbery turns into shooting

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Two out of the three teenagers involved in a robbery that turned into a shooting will be charged as adults.

On June 13, officers with the Lincoln Police Department responded to the area of 11th and Hill streets on report of a male with a gunshot wound.

During the investigation, investigators determined a 14-year-old boy was visiting a girl at a home when a 15-year-old friend of the girl’s 15-year-old brother came out with a ski mask on and attempted to rob the 14-year-old…
