LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department conducted over 400 traffic stops during three enforcement projects focused on traffic and seatbelt safety throughout the month of May.
Officers participated in two traffic projects that covered northwest Lincoln, an area that includes some of the highest reported crash locations in the city, along with O Street in northeast Lincoln.
LPD conducted 128 traffic stops during these two projects, issuing 122 citations and 43 warnings…
