UNL students help transform a historic Lincoln church into Art Chapel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A 150-year-old church in Lincoln’s F Street neighborhood has been given a new life. This time as a place for creativity and community.

The historic building, home to the F Street Neighborhood Church, now also a home to The Art Chapel, is a renovated space to support art education in Lincoln.

About 20 UNL architecture students led the renovation, with support from Nebraska Innovation Studio and a few local construction companies, under the guidance of professors Jeffery L.
