Lincoln Police says officers from their Southeast Team wrote 100 citations during an enhanced traffic enforcement project in June. Officers worked overtime to focus on areas with high incidents of traffic crashes.
“The Southeast Team responds to the largest number of reported crashes in Lincoln,” says Public Information Manager “This project allowed officers to work on days off and for others to work outside of their normal shifts to address the times where traffic crashes are at their peak.”…
