Construction workers hit by vehicle in south Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Police have arrested a driver after they say he hit two construction workers in south Lincoln.

Tuesday evening, first responders were called to the area of 48th and Sumner on a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.

LPD says a group of construction workers were pouring concrete, when an SUV drove through the construction zone. They say the driver hit a 23-year-old Lincoln man, who landed on the hood of the SUV…
