Lincoln Police took three people into custody Wednesday afternoon after a puppy was stolen from it’s owner near 26th and ‘R’. LPD says the victim and witnesses reported seeing two people, one armed with a handgun, approach the victim, point a handgun at her and steal her three-week-old puppy.
Lt. Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News the suspects then got into a vehicle driven by a third person. “The victim and one of the witnesses were able to provide a description of the vehicle the suspects left in and a last known direction of travel.”
Goodwin says an officer spotted the vehicle in downtown Lincoln just after 4:00 pm. “A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and all occupants were taken into custody without incident. “The puppy was recovered, unharmed, and returned to the victim…
