Lincoln man running 24 hours straight to raise money for women in need

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Steve Sousek, an avid runner in Lincoln, is using his hobby to help raise money for women in need with a 24-hour long run this weekend.

Starting at 8 p.m. Friday night, Sousek began running laps around the track at Pius X Catholic High School, continuing nonstop until 8 p.m. on Saturday. He’ll only take breaks to use the bathroom and slow to a walk to eat a few snacks.

He’s asking interested runners to join him at any point during the run and to make donations if possible…
