Rain potential with last cooler day; heat spikes late this weekend

Foggy start to Friday so far.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for a large area of central and eastern Nebraska until 10 a.m. Friday morning.

After the fog clears, still a lot of clouds in this cooler forecast for Friday. Winds will be rather light with a muggy feel again.

High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

But it’ll feel a lot warmer.

Rain potential increases throughout the afternoon hours toward the early evening. A few showers will be possible in the vicinity of Lincoln, while most of the rain and thunderstorms will track east and southeast from Lincoln through today and tonight…
