Man assaulted, robbed after verbal altercation in downtown Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Police are investigating after a man was reportedly assaulted and robbed after a verbal altercation in downtown Lincoln on Tuesday.

Officers were waved down by a 36-year-old man in the area of Centennial Mall and O Street just after 1:30 a.m. He told them he had just been assaulted by a group of unknown males in their teens and early 20s.
