Lincoln Police arrest suspected getaway driver in April alley assault

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department has arrested the suspected getaway driver involved in a violent assault and robbery.

Breanna Weiss, 30, was charged with accessory to a class 2 or 2A felony.

On April 27 around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the report of a robbery in the area of South 17th and Washington streets.

Upon arrival, police found the victim, a 43-year-old Lincoln man, bleeding and suffering from multiple facial injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of those injuries, including facial and jaw fractures…
