LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – On this day 10 years ago, Nebraska was the first state to use opioid fentanyl in an execution.
This was used in the execution of Carey Dean Moore. The 60-year-old spent more than half his life on death row for the killing of two cab drivers in Omaha in 1979.
