LINCOLN, Neb. — The Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) is reminding consumers about upcoming virtual town hall meetings related to the Black Hills Energy rate case (NG-124). Black Hills Energy has filed an application with the PSC seeking a $34.6 million general rate increase, which would affect fixed customer charges and distribution charges regulated by the Commission.
To provide information and address questions regarding the proposed rate increase, the PSC will hold three virtual town hall meetings. These meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, at 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday, August 20, at 10:00 a.m. Details on how to participate can be found on the PSC website.
The town hall meetings will feature presentations by Black Hills Nebraska Gas and the Public Advocate. The Public Advocate, currently Lincoln attorney Chris Dibbern, represents customers and has experience in natural gas matters. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the meetings. A recording of the meetings will be available on the PSC website…
