Man accused in murder, crime spree across Lincoln has case moved to district court

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A crime spree that sparked a cross-city chase across Lincoln in now moving forward in the court system.

Timothy Washington, 41, the man who police believed killed someone near downtown Lincoln in February, among other alleged claims, now has a set date to be arraigned in Lancaster County District Court next month. His next court date is Sept. 17.

Washington still faces the same 10 charges, including first-degree murder, that the state brought against him in county court…
