Authorities investigating swatting call at Doane University

CRETE, Neb. (KOLN) – Authorities are investigating a swatting call that shut down Doane University Tuesday morning – the second day of classes for the fall semester.

The university received a report at 8:44 a.m. of a possible armed suspect in the restroom of the Communications Building on the Crete campus.

According to Doane University, campus security immediately issued a lockout/secure notice to all faculty, staff and students, instructing everyone to remain inside secured buildings…
