Nebraska State Fair showcases 4-H youth achievements and growth

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Nebraska 4-H members are gearing up for the Nebraska State Fair, set to take place from August 22 through September 1. The event will feature 4,105 exhibits and livestock entries, showcasing the dedication and achievements of 4-H participants across the state.

Kathleen Lodl, associate dean for Nebraska Extension, emphasized the significance of the fair. “Each exhibit, animal or performance represents a story of dedication, learning and personal growth. The fair is a celebration of these stories, and the lifelong impact 4-H has on its members,” she said. Lodl added that the State Fair serves as a platform for Nebraska 4-H youth to demonstrate their learning and celebrate their achievements.
