Lincoln, NE — As the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) prepares for the start of classes, the UNL Police Department is emphasizing campus safety during the student move-in period. The department is actively engaging with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a secure environment.
“Just continuing being available, or officers, or teams, are starting to presentation around campus. Then also supporting the students that are transitioning onto campus,” said the UNLPD Chief of Police.
The department is focused on educating the campus community about safety measures. “It’s beneficial for all, it takes an entire campus community to support safety, so we like to make sure we try to share information so that everyone takes an active role in safety on campus,” the chief said…
