Two men arrested following investigation into aggravated assault outside Lincoln’s Das Haus

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — Two people turned themselves in on Monday for their alleged involvement in an aggravated assault outside Lincoln’s LGBTQA+ bar ‘Das Haus’.

Kyson Bellamy, 19, and Xavier Lynch, 19, were both lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.

Lincoln Police officers were called out to the report of an assault near North 17th and O streets around 2 a.m. A 25-year-old man was injured after being thrown to the ground.

Video from the incident shows another person run up behind the victim and pick him up. The suspect suspends the victim from his waist for a short time before quickly hurling him to the ground. The victim is then seen convulsing on the cement…
