Lincoln Police say a 15-year-old North Star High School student was the victim of a robbery around 2:15 Friday afternoon. “The victim reported he was near the track when two unknown males approached him and told him to give his belongings to the individuals,” says Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
“The two males took his shoes, backpack, laptop, phone, headphones and inhaler, for a total loss estimated at more than $1,100.” Thomas says the North Star School Resource Officer was able to identity one of the suspects based on surveillance video of the incident.
“Officers located 18-year-old Angelo Givans of Lincoln just after 3 p.m. and arrested him,” Thomas says. Some of the victim’s belongings were recovered during the arrest. He was taken to the Lancaster County Jail and booked for robbery…
