LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Crime Stoppers is hoping the public can help identify a man who is accused of stealing items from a grocery store on multiple occasions.
On Aug. 16, Russ’s Market near 17th and Washington Avenue reported that an employee found an empty box of medicine hidden in the drink aisle. Their loss prevention employee then checked the surveillance footage. They say the cameras showed a man going to the pharmacy aisle and grabbing 3-4 bottles of Robitussin cold medicine and then concealing them in his jeans. LPD says he then grabs some snacks and drinks and leaves the store without paying for any of the items.
In the entrance, police say he then opens and consumes two of the bottles of Robitussin, each of which have 20 pills inside. He then walks to the exterior of the store and consumes another bottle before leaving on foot. They say he was also seen on security footage doing the same thing on Aug. 21 and possibly two other times as well.
Lincoln Crime Stoppers says he has star tattoos on the back of both arms above the elbows, a heart tattoo on his left hand, and large tattoos on both forearms…
