LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lancaster County Court found the Lincoln man accused in a 2023 murder case not mentally competent to stand trial for the fourth time on Wednesday.
Alaric Harden, 47, appeared in court for a competency hearing. He’s charged with first-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony in connection to the death of 76-year-old Larry Cole.
The court determined Harden is still mentally incompetent to stand trial but could possibly become competent within the foreseeable future. He has been ordered to remain in the Lincoln Regional Center…
