LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man has been charged in connection with a July crash in Lincoln that left him and two passengers seriously injured.
Jason Dyer, 32, was charged Wednesday with DUI causing serious bodily injury.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on July 20, when Lincoln police responded to a single-vehicle collision with a pole in south Lincoln. Officers found the car heavily damaged, indicating it had been traveling at a high rate of speed.
Police said Dyer showed signs of intoxication, including bloodshot, watery eyes, and drifted in and out of consciousness at the scene. Court documents state several bottles of alcohol were found inside the vehicle. Both Dyer and his two passengers were wearing 21+ wristbands…
