As the 2025 school year kicked off, the Glen Korff School of Music welcomed students into a brand new building. The new Westbrook Music Building made its debut on Aug. 22 with an open house.
Felix Olschofka, director of the Glenn Korff School of Music, said the open house was a success, totalling roughly 650 visitors including students, faculty, staff and alumni.
“It was so cool to see at the open house how many retired faculty and alumni came back to see it,” assistant professor of music in voice Suna Gunther said. “People were really excited to just walk around the new space who had gone to UNL as a music student five, 10, 20 years ago so that was really cool. It was like a homecoming.”…
