Lincoln Board of Education names John Skretta as LPS superintendent

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Board of Education named John Skretta superintendent for Lincoln Public Schools at its regular meeting on Tuesday, 7-0.

Skretta was appointed to serve as the interim superintendent in January after Paul Gausman retired, but will now officially take on the superintendent title.

After the board’s unanimous vote promoting him, Skretta said he’s “ecstatic” to continue his role serving LPS…
