Lincoln residents will soon be able to receive real-time text updates on major street and utility projects through a new service called TextLNK.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) announced Wednesday that the city is partnering with TextMyGov to offer the free service on a one-year trial beginning in mid-September.
“TextLNK gives people a simple, direct way to stay informed about improvements happening in their neighborhoods and along their daily routes,” said LTU Director Liz Elliott. “This service reflects our commitment to ongoing engagement, transparency, accessibility, and keeping residents connected to the work shaping Lincoln’s future.”…
