Nebraska bluegrass concert series encourages music for all

LINCOLN–The Shucks Brothers, a Lincoln band, kicked off its set at the first night of the Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series in early September.

In its fourth year, the Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series hosted bluegrass bands Jason Carter Band and The Shucks Brothers on Sept. 3 and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes & The Midnight Wanderers on Sept. 10.

The concerts are at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Outdoor Plaza and feature local bluegrass bands opening for nationally recognized bands. The lineup pairs a local band with a national band for each performance.
