While the Nebraska football team sits at 3-1 on the season, they aren’t sniffing the Top 25 in large part due to what critics call an easy non-conference schedule. However, with each passing week, the Huskers’ first win of the season over Cincinnati, and quarterback Brendan Sorsby looks better and better.
One thing to consider: The Bearcats seemingly took their last-second loss to NU personally as they’ve reeled off three straight wins. On Saturday, those wins included a come-from-behind victory over the Kansas Jayhawks. That win allowed UC to start the season 1-0 in a wide-open Big 12.

A second thing to consider: Nebraska held Sorsby to less than 100 yards passing and sealed the game thanks to an interception near the endzone by Malcolm Hartzog. As it turns out, that was the last time Sorsby threw a pick. He’s now thrown 10 touchdowns and zero picks since the Huskers’ game…
