Firehouse Subs hosts Touch-the-Truck event for fire safety awareness

LINCOLN, Neb — To celebrate National Fire Protection Association Fire Prevention Week and kick off First Responders Month, a Firehouse Subs restaurant in Lincoln is hosting a Touch-the-Truck event. The event, scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. at 200 N. 66th St., Ste 201, offers families a hands-on opportunity to explore a fire truck and meet local first responders.
