Few cooler fall days with sunshine now in Nebraska

Southeast Nebraska has seen a lot of rain over the past couple days, with some reporting 2-4″ of rainfall south and east of Lincoln. Some 4″+ reports were received from southern Gage County.

In Lincoln, 1.33″ was enough to set a new record for rainfall on October 6th. The old record for the most rainfall on October 6th was set back in 2017.

Temperatures overnight have dropped to some chilly 30s in northern Nebraska so far. Cold enough that the National Weather Service issued a Frost Advisory for northwest Nebraska until 9 a.m. MDT Tuesday…..
