Woman Cited For Incident at Lincoln’s No Kings Rally

Lincoln Police say the No Kings protest outside the state capital on Saturday afternoon was mostly peaceful. But there was on incident that landed a 22-year-old woman in jail. LPD Sergeant Chris Vollmer says officers were called to the area of 14th & K Street on the report of a woman threatening people with a Taser.

“Arriving officers located a woman matching the description provided by the caller, Vollmer says. “Communication with her and others indicates she believed four teenage boys, 12-14 years of age, were harassing another woman at a protest.”

Vollmer says the woman in police custody then displayed a handheld stun gun, arcing the device in close proximity to the boys, while telling them to leave. Officers then spoke with the woman described as being harassed…
