Officers make three arrests following investigation into UNL scooter thefts

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Three people were arrested following an investigation into multiple scooter thefts across the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department said eight scooters have been reported stolen on campus since the beginning of the school year. All scooters, ranging in value from $200 to $800, were left unsecured, and all but one theft happened during daylight hours.
