Prescott Avenue shops come together to host trick or treaters

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Halloween may not be until next Friday, but the community is already putting their costumes to use, breaking out the Spiderman masks, and dinosaur onesies for an afternoon of trick or treating at one local shopping block.

Shopping local is easy to do if you’re spending the day on Prescott Avenue.

“There’s a lot of really unique local businesses that are here as well,” said Alicia Reisinger, owner of the Wax Buffalo. “You can come and grab a cinnamon roll, then go shopping, grab a cup of coffee from The Mill. It really is kind of the best place to wander around in Lincoln, and it’s all right here.”…
