‘We are very fortunate no one was injured or killed’: Stanton County Sheriff arrests man after high speed, multi-crash pursuit

STANTON COUNTY, Neb. (KCAU) — The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office said that it’s very fortunate no one was killed or injured following a pursuit Tuesday night.

According to the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office, they were told that a driver, later identified as Kurt Kasik, 57, of Waverly, had crashed into another vehicle on Highway 275 east of Norfolk at around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kasik fled from the scene into a private drive off.
