LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 29)–A 51-year-old Lincoln man on Wednesday pleaded no contest of a felony charge of motor vehicle homicide in a crash that killed a Ceresco Police officer in April 2024.
Tony Pierce had previously pleaded not guilty. It was April 12, 2024, where Ceresco Police Officer Ross Bartlett had just made a traffic stop along southbound Highway 77 in northern Lancaster County, when his cruiser was rear-ended by Pierce’s vehicle and the patrol car hit the vehicle pulled over by Bartlett.
