LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 31)–Around 9:30 pm Friday evening, Lincoln Police Officers responded to reports of a large party in South Lincoln near 40th and Prescott, where the caller reported 50-100 underage juveniles being loud. As officers were responding the call was updated to state that one individual had been stabbed. As officers were responding the call was updated to state that one individual had been stabbed. Upon arrival officers located a 17 year old Lincoln man with critical injuries. Lincoln Police Captain Duane Winkler told KFOR News, officers rendered aid and the man was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment, and his condition is considered stable. Soon after that a 15 year old Lincoln man arrived at another local hospital with injuries believed to be from the same incident. A suspect is being sought, however no arrests yet been made and police do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time.
On Friday, October 31st at approximately 9:33 PM Lincoln Police Officers were detailed to the 900 Block of South 11th Street on the report of an assault. Lincoln Police Captain Duane Winkler told KFOR News, upon arrival officers made contact with the reporting party, who stated he had been assaulted by one of his neighbors. As officers were taking his report the victim’s neighbor, Artemio Reyna, 24, of Lincoln, was observed engaged in a physical fight. When Reyna did not comply with officer’s orders to drop a knife a Taser was deployed and he was taken into custody. After being treated at a local hospital Mr. Reyna was cited and lodged for 1. Assault (1st Degree-Felony), 2. Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony (felony). The victim was treated and released for minor injuries…
