Nebraska poised to add to already impressive recruiting class with elite RB

While the Nebraska football faithful are still smarting after a close loss to USC and then the loss for the reason of Dylan Raiola, Amir Brown could deliver the salve to soothe their wounds.

Brown, a 4-star running back in the 2027 class, has taken visits to Lincoln two weekends in a row and has reportedly loved what he’s seen on both trips. He arrived in Lincoln just after halftime during the win against the Northwestern Wildcats, and so wanted to get the whole picture before the contest against USC.

Despite the loss, Nebraska apparently made quite the impression, considering Steve Wiltfong, Bryan Munson, and Sam Spiegelman all put in predictions on Sunday afternoon for the Huskers to land Brown’s commitment. That was followed shortly after by Notre Dame analyst Kyle Kelly, who concurred that the Irish had lost the recruiting battle for the former North Carolina commit.

All of those predictions also followed Tim Verghese’s October 30 prediction, just ahead of Brown’s second straight visit. In all, five On3/Rivals analysts believe the Huskers will get a commitment from the No. 10 player in North Carolina and No. 21 running back in the 2027 class…
