LINCOLN—(KFOR Nov. 2)—A fire Sunday afternoon at a central Lincoln home left about $100,000 in damage.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue was called around 1:45pm to a home in the 400 block of South 25th Street, just south of “L” Street, where neighbors saw smoke coming from a two story residence. When crews arrived they found the structure to be full of heavy smoke, according to LFR public information officer MJ Lierman, but we’re having trouble finding the source of the fire.
“It took about 45 minutes to get it under control,” Lierman told KFOR News. “There was fire found in the center of the house in an old chimney, and the fire inspector is investigating the cause.”…
