The University of Nebraska State Museum–Morrill Hall in Lincoln will now offer free admission to guests who qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). This change is effective immediately and will continue until further notice. The initiative is part of the national Museums for All program, which seeks to make museums accessible to families regardless of income. Morrill Hall has participated in this program since early 2020, and participation has increased each year.
Morrill Hall is also supporting the Husker Pantry’s Winter Food Drive, which runs through November 12, 2025. The museum will accept donations as a drop-off site. Anyone who donates will receive a free admission pass to the Mueller Planetarium. The Husker Pantry provides food and personal care items to University of Nebraska–Lincoln students.
