HazToGo, Lincoln’s household hazardous waste center at 5101 N. 48th St., will add Friday hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting November 7, 2025. The center serves Lincoln and Lancaster County residents at no cost. It is also open on Wednesdays and the third Saturday of each month during the same hours.
HazToGo accepts hazardous materials such as pesticides, cleaning products, oil-based paints, and vape products. In the past year, more than 3,500 households and small businesses used the service. The program diverted over 130,000 pounds of hazardous waste from the Bluff Road Landfill.
