Teens in custody after gunfire, attempted vehicle theft in Lincoln neighborhood

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Three teens were taken into custody after shots were fired during an attempted vehicle theft early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a home in the area of South 29th and E streets around 1:15 a.m.

A 40-year-old Lincoln woman told police three males were trying to break into her SUV. She said when she approached them, they fired a gun at her and ran off, according to LPD…
