Armed suspect shot by officers during felony arrest attempt in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man wanted in a felony narcotics investigation has life-threatening injuries after an officer-involved shooting Wednesday morning in a busy northeast Lincoln intersection.

Nebraska State Patrol Col. Bryan Waugh said members of the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force were looking for John Massa, 41, of Lincoln, wanted in connection with a felony narcotics and possession of a firearm case. He was believed to be armed and dangerous.
