Morrill Hall Expands Free Admission to SNAP and WIC Recipients

In the holiday spirit of giving, the University of Nebraska State Museum–Morrill Hall is expanding access to its exhibits and helping fight food insecurity in the Husker community.

Effective immediately, families and individuals who qualify for SNAP or WIC benefits will receive free admission to Morrill Hall through the Museums for All program—a national initiative that provides affordable museum access to income-qualified families nationwide.

“We had always charged $1 admission under Museums for All,” said Caroline Clements, spokesperson for Morrill Hall. “But given some of the economic challenges families are facing and with the holidays approaching, we decided now was a good time to shift that rate to free admission.”…
