UNL Ranked Among Top 35 Universities Worldwide for Entrepreneurship, Highest in Nebraska

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) has moved up seven places to rank 35th in the 2026 Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine list of the Top 50 Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs. UNL remains the highest-ranked institution in Nebraska and is 10th in the Midwest region.

Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, president of the University of Nebraska system, said the ranking reflects the university’s investments in students, faculty, and entrepreneurship initiatives. He stated that entrepreneurship at Nebraska involves practical experience, collaboration across disciplines, and support for students interested in various industries.

The Princeton Review survey, conducted in summer 2025, collected data from nearly 300 schools in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. The evaluation used more than 40 data points, including program quality, faculty background, student participation, and alumni outcomes. Chancellor Rodney D.
