CRETE, Neb. — A tragic two-vehicle crash on Highway 33 near Crete, Nebraska, resulted in the death of one driver and left another in critical condition. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reported that the collision occurred around 9:48 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2025. Hermelinda Reynoso, 27, of Milford, was driving a 2013 white Ford Fusion westbound when she crossed the centerline and collided nearly head-on with a 2010 blue Honda Accord Crosstour driven by Alyssa Jeffrey, 24, of Friend.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage, trapping the drivers inside. Jeffrey was airlifted to a local hospital, where she remains in critical but stable condition.
