LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man was sentenced Monday, in the murder of his cellmate, Philip Garcia, at the Nebraska State Penitentiary on Oct. 29, 2022.
Tyler Stanford, 40, was found guilty of manslaughter and the attempt of a Class 2 felony on Sept. 12 of this year. His original first-degree murder charge was amended to manslaughter after pleading no contest.
